Eco-Friendly Wood Packaging

At Erie Wood Products, we recognize the importance of following environmentally-friendly practices. We recycle our wood scrap as either firewood or we grind it down into sawdust which is mainly used for bedding in horse stables. 

ISPM-15 Wood Packaging Standards

We follow all of the ISPM-15 wood packaging international trade standards. We have the only heat treating facility in Erie County featuring an SII Kiln. Heat treating eliminates pests and sanitizes wood for exporting. We are able to heat treat a 53’ van trailer at one time.
